YES, you will already have a Student ID (a 9 digit number e.g. 100012345) and password to login. If unsure of your Student ID and/or password, please call 1300 GOTAFE (1300 468233) during business hours. Outside of business hours, please email enquiry@gotafe.vic.edu.au and we will be in contact with you.

If you know your Student ID and password you can login via Student Login on this page.

  1. Once logged in select My Courses and Applications
  2. Select Course Applications from the side menu
  3. Click Add New button under Applications sections

NO, you will need to register as the first step in the application process. This will provide you with a user name and a password to allow you to access the student login at any time.

If you have registered previously, you will have a Student ID, please do not Register again. Check your email for your Student ID and password and use the Student Login to the right.

Before you apply you will need

  • A valid email address
  • For short course applicants, a credit card

It will also assist your application if you have

  • Certified copies of your identification documents (Birth Certificate, green medicare card etc). Does not apply to Health & Safety Representative OHS courses
  • A copy of a valid concession card, if applicable (Current Health Care card, Pensioners Card etc). Does not apply to Health & Safety Representative OHS courses
  • Information about your qualifications, if applicable (Copies of Transcripts, Certificates etc).
  • Information about an agency or employer who may be providing you assistance with your fees.

What happens after you submit your application online

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email on completion of the online application process.
  • We will assess the application and notify you of the outcome.
  • You can continue to upload any supporting documentation using the user name and password emailed to you.
  • If you haven't heard from us within 2 business days, please call us on 1300 468 233
